Authors’ Booking Service is pleased to announce that children’s author LM Falcone is now scheduling visits to Ontario schools for the coming school year. Her rates are as follows:
One session: $300
Two sessions: $500
Three sessions: $700
Plus standard kilometrage.
Lucy is a former teacher, private investigator and television writer (for such series as CTV's The Littlest Hobo, CBS's The New Monkees! and Nickleodeon's hugely popular Are You afraid of the Dark?) Currently, she writes spooky novels for young readers.
Here's what librarian Carm Condotta of Pope John Paul II School in Bolton has to say about Lucy:
"My students are still talking about Lucy’s visit. Her book talk, sharing of personal experiences as a writer, and short video clips kept the audience engaged and wanting more. I can’t think of a better author to inspire students to read and write. Here it is, a full year after your visit, and I still can’t keep any of her titles on my shelves!”
LM Falcone is a member of The Writers' Union of Canada, and so schools wishing to invite her may be eligible for a travel and fee subsidy to off-set the cost of her visit. Contact us for details of this program.
